How guided meditation can help you learn to achieve the Relaxation Response

February 12th, 2012

I need to find out some way to settle down and not be so terribly stressful all the time. I don’t know, I am typically in a big hurry, and constantly have a million things on my mind. I’m not sleeping very well, I’m always in a bad mood and it’s difficult to focus at work.
So I studied this really useful web page about guided meditation that had some great information. The author teaches guided meditation. She explains that when you listen to a calm voice that is telling you how to relax, the results are often far better than if you try to do it on your own.
The web page emphasizes that 20 minutes of doing guided meditation every day can undo the effects of stress. This is exactly what I need to learn!
